Firefly Racing competed at Lotus Hethel in Norfolk on Sunday in the last heat before this season鈥檚 International Final.

Almost 70% of the car was new, including new steering and an F1-style carbon fibre seat made by the Sixth Form. Despite being untested, the car finished second in the F24+ race (against universities and Engineering apprentices), ably driven by James W (Upper Eighth). The car now has enough championship points potentially to win the overall championship on 13 October (if they finish first). As so much of the car was new, the team conducted wool tuft testing during free practice to correlate their CFD modelling conducted in school.
